Is an online MBA worth it while working?

I’ve been going back and forth on this for months. I’m 29, currently in a mid-level ops role, and honestly feel stuck without a proper management degree backing me up. Quitting my job for a full-time MBA isn’t an option right now — bills don’t pause for two years.

After digging around, I found a decent amount of info on  online MBA for working professionals, and it actually seems more doable than I expected. Recorded lectures, weekend live sessions, flexible exam windows — basically built for people who can’t sit in a classroom 9-to-5.

What’s stopping me now is picking the right university and specialisation. There are just too many options, and fees seem to vary a lot for what looks like the same degree on paper.

Has anyone here actually done an online MBA while working? Curious about:

• How much time it really eats up weekly
• Whether recruiters actually take it seriously
• Any university you’d recommend (or avoid)
